I've been a Personal Trainer (PT) for almost 12 years, working with clients aged from 14-70+ and people with extreme differences in fitness & ability.
I am not a “quick fix” short term trainer. My aim is for exercise to become part of your lifestyle. You don’t have to LOVE it but my goal is to help you, your body and your mind realise and appreciate all the benefits of regular exercise.
Women's fitness is a passion of mine and I have specialised in pre- and post-natal fitness for the past 8 years. I provide new mums the opportunity to return to or start exercising, without having to find a babysitter, by encouraging them to bring their babies along to their sessions at the studio.
Being over 40 myself, I have also become acutely aware of Fitness and Menopause and have undertaken specific study in this area. I understand that fitness, weight loss and exercise often changes for women in their 40's. Rather than dwelling on this change, I assist women in finding the best training for their bodies.
My approach to personal training is to listen to the needs and goals of my client's and design sessions that will be fun and deliver results. I offer every client skills, tools, encouragement and support to help achieve their personal health & fitness goals (without any boot-camp yelling). You just need to bring a desire and commitment to be involved.
I also have experience in remedial and corrective exercise to assist in addressing postural issues, body imbalances, injury rehabilitation and prevention. I have established a solid relationship with many of the local Bayside therapists having worked in the area many years.
